NHS Treatment costs and charges....

For NHS patients who are exempt from patient charges we will require proof of your NHS exemption.  We accept payment via cash or credit / debit card.  We do not accept cheques.  NHS Patient charges have increased from 1st April 2024.  Please note that NHS dental charges are the same in every practice in Wales, the fees charged for NHS dentistry are collected directly for the NHS in wales and we do not have any control over pricing.

NHS Patient Charges from 1st April 2024:

£20.00 for basic examination, diagnostic and preventative care (includes simple scaling and x rays).

£60.00 which includes additional treatments such as fillings, root canal treatments and extractions.

£260.00 which includes more extensive features such as crowns, dentures and bridges.

£30.00  for an urgent appointment, eg. temporary filling, smoothing a tooth, recementation of a crown, treatment of an acute condition / infection.

For those requiring private or cosmetic treatments which are beyond the scope of NHS dentistry please feel free to discuss the associated costs with your dentist who will be happy to provide a written treatment plan.  We also sell a wide range of dental care products and will be happy to advise which products will suit you best.
